Green Tea A wonderful fresh leafy aroma. with often a hint of bitterness it is delightful when blended with rosebuds, fruits, licorice, red peppers or other flavours. Green teas are often associated with a host of health benefits.
White Tea Scacer than green or black tea, white tea have an extremely delicate flavour which tend towards savoury or nutty although still sweet. White teas produce a refreshing clear, virtually caffeine free tea and are said to have higher level of anti-oxidants than green teas.
Black Tea With their wonderfully distinct, robust, earthy and full-bodied
flavour, black teas can be drunk as they are, or blended with exciting
ingredients to give you real variety. Black tea can help digestion, aid
relaxation and be calming but can also help to energise too.
Pu Erh Tea These teas have a very strong earthy taste which gains in
strength over time with some Pu-erhs being over 50 years old.
Pu-erh tea has been drunk for centuries by the Chinese, as they believe that it can fight obesity, lower cholesterol and aid digestion – a
great one for drinking after a heavy night!
Oolong Tea Oolong teas range in flavour from highly floral to mildly
roasted with honey nuances. A real treat! They have a sweet
and soothing fragrance and are said to
improve blood circulation. Great for those h
igh blood pressure moments!
Rooibos Tea Rooibos tea comes from the South African Rooibos plant and
has a unique sweet but nutty flavour with a soothing character.
It produces a delightfully rich red tea, vibrant with colour and
flavour. The teas are caffeine free, have very low levels of tannin
and are full of nutrients. They are great drinks for children.
Herbal Infusions Herb teas are said to have a huge range of health benefits. They are packed with nutrients with wonderful flavours and passionate scents;
They range from camomile for its soothing effects, Raspberry leaf for expectant, and Peppermint for the digestive system
Fruit Infusions Packed with nutrients, real fruit pieces, wonderful flavours and
passionate scents; you’ll find fruit infusions great to
drink at any time of day. They are said to host a multitude of
health benefits.
Mate Tea Mate is part of everyday life in South America where it is found in the
form of a species of holly. Mate teas are best known for increasing
energy. A vibrant tea, with over 6% caffeine, it’s often seen as an
alternative to tea or coffee. It is reminiscent of a green tea, with a
slightly musty flavour and is reputed to help skin conditions, improve
concentration and heighten physical endurance.
Honey Bush Tea Honey Bush tea is described as having a pleasant, mildly sweet
taste and aroma, somewhat like honey. Some have described it as
tasting like hot apricot jam! Honeybush tea is great served hot or
cold and blends really well with fruit juice. Like rooibos, it’s caffeine
free and contains little tannin and is packed with minerals.
Chidren's Tea There are some great fruit infusions
containing little gummy bears and
flowers which are designed for
children or those with a
sweeter tooth and are
great drunk hot or
cold in preference
to squash.
